Joseph M. Rinaldo

Joseph M. Rinaldo graduated from The Ohio State University Magna Cum Laude with a BSBA concentration in Finance and received an MBA from Western Kentucky University. Currently, he works as a Financial Manager for a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning distributor. Having more than twelve years of experience in distribution as a Credit Analyst, Financial Analyst, Credit Manager, and Financial Manager gives him a unique perspective on generating profits and monitoring costs. He understands the accounting requirements and how to work with the sales staff to develop new business.

He wrote Costs & Customers: The Distributor’s Guide to Greater Profitability because the traditional accounting formulas do not provide distributors with the information they need to react as quickly as they should in this Age of Information. Distributors need a way to evaluate their level of efficiency and judge the profitability of their customers. The Cost Per Minute and the Expense Percent Method invented by Joseph Rinaldo give distributors a means to determine if their actions are enhancing or hurting their company’s net income.
